Pattie’s Bio:

Pattie began painting shortly after retiring from United Airlines as a flight attendant. A passion for color and shapes in her abstracts she defines the intuitive process with multi layers of color. When beginning a painting the results rarely resemble the initial start of the piece. Working primarily in acrylics and constantly experimenting with the process pushing the envelope for changes in results. She is not content to simply blast the canvas with the saturated colors of her paints. She utilizes a heat gun to the paint until it begins to bubble and warp with fantastic textures that she desires in her work. The whimsical nature of her paintings is displayed not only in her abstracts but also in her colorful character pieces.

Pattie’s Awards:

2013-2014 Carlsbad Oceanside juried Art league show 1st and 2nd place awards

2019 Colorado Watercolor State Show, 1st place
2022 Sacramento Fine Arts Award of Excellence
2022 Rocklin Fine Arts 1st place
