Pikes Peak Watercolor Society Members Lending Library

Our Librarian has acquired over 225 art instruction DVDs and over 100 art instruction books for our paid members to use free of charge.

The current list of the items in our Members Library can be accessed by our paid members on our Facebook Members Group page under “Files”.

Using our library is easy!

Members who are current on their dues can check out items by simply emailing the Librarian, Myra Patin, anytime during the month until the afternoon before our monthly meeting. She will deliver your choices, if available, at that month’s meeting.

Just look over the list and send Myra an email. In your email, please provide your name, phone number, the letter/number code and title of each item you would like to check out.

Upon delivery of the items requested, members must provide a $20 cash deposit and sign a Library Loan Agreement. Your $20.00 deposit will be held with your contract by the Librarian and will be returned to you when you return the borrowed items in the same condition to the Librarian.

We ask that you check out items for no more than 2 months so that other members can share our library. There is a check out limit of 2 DVDs and no limit on books. If you need to check out or return items between meetings, you can contact the Librarian to make arrangements to pick up items directly from her.

Raising Money for the Library

Our Librarian normally sells art-related magazines and books at our monthly meetings to purchase new items for the library. She accepts donations of cash or art-related books and DVDs to add to the library or sell to buy new items for the library.

So, clean out your studios and bring in any art-related magazines, books, and DVDs you no longer want or need. You can bring them to the next meeting or contact the Librarian to drop them off at her home.
