PPWS MEMBERS’ SHOW
November 3rd thru 28th, 2026
LOCATION: Library 21C, 1175 Chapel Hills Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80920

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday, October 26th, by 5:00 PM *No exceptions!
The Registration Form is down below, and only available online on the PPWS website.
INTAKE: Monday, November 2nd • 10:00 am to 12 Noon
RECEPTION: Saturday, November 7th • 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
PICK-UP: Monday, November 30th • 10:00 am to 12 Noon
ELIGIBILITY: Please read thoroughly.
• ONE entry per member • No theme • Suggested size limit max. 22 x 28 framed.
• Open to any PPWS member in good standing whose dues are current.
• Must be completely original, hand-generated artwork; predominantly water media on watercolor paper, rice paper, clay board, Yupo, illustration board, canvas, or silk. Water media includes watercolor, gouache, and acrylic. Collage or pen/ink allowed as long as the piece is predominantly watermedia painted by artist.
• No prints / photographs / digital / AI / computer generated art will be accepted. No 3D art. No water-soluble oils.
• Unless it is sold, please leave artwork on display until the show is taken down on November 30th.
• Paintings must be the sole work of the artist. Reference photos should be taken by the artist.
• No art created with other artists or in classes.
• Subject matter must be in good taste and appropriate for the general public of all ages.
PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Watercolors on paper (unvarnished) must be matted and framed.
• White or off-white mats are preferable but not mandatory.
• If waxed or varnished, the piece can be framed without mat or glazing.
• Deep canvas or deep cradle board that are sealed, no frame is required.
• Plexiglass (acrylic) glazing is preferred. Glass in frames is accepted, but artist is responsible for ensuring that glass is secured in frame, and hanging wire/D Rings are installed securely. For very large pieces (larger than 22 x 28) with heavy frames, plexiglass is recommended in order to reduce weight.
• Paintings must have a label attached to the back. You can download the label below.
• Paintings must be ready for hanging with D-Ring hardware and wire. No saw tooth hangers.
• No dirt, chips, scratches, or damage on the mat, plexiglass or frame.
SALES & COMMISSION:
Library 21C takes no commission. No pricing is allowed on the wall tags. Paintings do not have to be for sale. Sales will be directly between buyer and artist. Wall tags will display only your contact information.
ENTRY FEE:
$15.00 to be paid in cash or check (payable to PPWS) at Intake on Monday, November 2nd.
