Meet Kang Lee Sheppard!

Kang Lee is one of PPWS’ Featured Artists for October 2024!

Kang Lee has been a member of PPWS since 2005and is an Signature Member. She has also volunteered as our Signature Chair, Vice President and Presient.

Kang Lee’s Bio:

Kang Lee has a Bachelor of Fine Art and has also earned a Master of Art. She taught at UCCS and Pikes Peak State College in Art, and History of World Culture, and is now retired.

Founder of “Sheppard Arts Institute and World Culture Center” president. Long standing art society leader in the Pikes Peak region.
At ENT Center of the Art at UCCS one of the studio named for her, “Kang Lee Sheppard Arts Learning Studio” in 2018. Her paintings are collected around the world and at the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum.

Kang Lee’s Awards:

• Merit Award International Water Media
• XIV at the Gallery of Contemporary Art at University of Colorado.
• National, Missouri Watercolor Society Exhibition at Winston Churchill Memorial Anson Cutts Gallery.
• Fine Art Center of Colorado Springs.
• Many other awards nationally and internationally.

I have no limit, I love it all! Besides watercolor, Kang Lee also works in oil, acrylic, pastels, drawing, Asian art, and mixed media.
