Meet Jon Sargent!

Jon has been a member of PPWS since 2025 and is an Associate Member.
Jon’s Bio:
Jon grew up among turtles, bugs and snakes in Florida. Like his crawling friends, he feels most at home in the outdoors. The natural world later would become the backdrop in the exploration of body image and masculinity. Jon now calls Colorado home. His rescue cat is constantly amazed at his creations. He has yet to find a snake taking up residence under his refrigerator, which was often the case back in Florida. He and his pet nevertheless remain ever vigilant.
Jon’s Awards:
I have had numerous selections in film festivals both in the US and around the world. I recently won 2nd place for best documentary film by a Colorado Filmmaker at the Denver Underground Film Festival for my short, Puppet Camino.
