Pikes Peak is the iconic mountain that towers over Colorado Springs. It is also known as America’s Mountain and was the inspiration for the famous song by Poet Katharine Lee Bates, America the Beautiful. It is also the name of our Watercolor Society!
We are in search of a new watermedia painting of Pikes Peak to grace the homepage of your website and need your help!
We need your help choosing a new painting for our Homepage, and you can help us by voting for your favorite painting! All 26 paintings are the work of Pikes Peak Watercolor Society members. This is an anonymous competition, so it can remain unbiased.
Voting is open from May 1st, 2026 to May 31st, 2026.
Anyone can vote for their favorite, but you are only allowed ONE vote! To vote, just click the heart ❤️ below an image to pick your favorite. You can also leave a kind comment if you like on why your chose that painting.
The winner’s name will be announced on June 1st and their painting will be the first thing you see on our homepage!
